Anita Lucas is a character on ABC's Once Upon a Time, and is portrayed by Annabeth Gish.
Biography
Background
Anita is the leader of a werewolf pack that Ruby decides to join, and she discovers that Anita is her mother. With help from Anita and the pack, Red figures out how to control her wolf form. When Red's friend Snow White arrives at the werewolf den, Snow is unknowingly followed by the Queen's Black Knights, who attack the den. Anita blames Snow for this due to the death of a pack member, and attacks Snow in her wolf form. However, Red also transforms into her wolf form and fights her mother, defeating her but accidentally impaling her on a spike. In her final moments, Anita says that Red chose Snow over her, to which Red tells her that she chose herself over becoming a murderer, and did not wish for Anita to become one either. Later, they make a grave for Anita.

- She is based on Red Riding Hood's mother from the fairytale Little Red Riding Hood.
