Background
Baron Danglars is among those who are responsible for the murder of Edmond Dantès' fiancée and destruction of Edmond's village. When Edmond dons the persona of the Count of Monte Cristo, he wreaks vengenace upon Danglars by luring him to a party before stabbing the Baron.
