Biography

Background

The Blind Witch lives in a gingerbread house which she uses to lure children, in order to eventually capture and devour them. In their youth, Regina and Claire encounter the Blind Witch, who lures them to her gingerbread house. They manage to escape, but Claire's ring remains in the Blind Witch's possession. Eventually, they broker a deal with the Blind Witch; if she gives Claire her ring back, then they will refrain from warning a wandering pair of children about the Blind Witch and her cannibalistic tendencies. The Blind Witch agrees to their terms, but demands Regina's apple as well. Regina gives her the apple and they leave the Blind Witch.

Season 1

Regina sends Hansel and Gretel into the Witch's home to take back the poisoned apple, which she wants to use on Snow White. Hansel and Gretel manage to trap the Blind Witch in her own oven and escape with the apple. Regina takes advantage of the Blind Witch's vulnerability and burns her to death while she is in the oven.

Season 5

After her demise, the Blind Witch works at the Underworld version of Granny's Diner. When Regina arrives at the Diner asking for the whereabouts of Hercules, the Blind Witch expresses contempt, but tells them anyway. She also expresses frustration that her food doesn't fatten Hercules, claiming he would be a good Sunday roast. Later, the Blind Witch informs Snow and David about the "haunting booths" that are used to contact the living. It is revealed that Auntie Em is her competition as she runs her own diner - although the Blind Witch's competition dissipates, thanks to Hades. The Blind Witch is eventually revealed to be working with the mayor Cruella De Vil. At her diner, she smells a "bromance" between Captain Hook and King Arthur, suggesting a table for two.
