The Fremont Troll is a creature on ABC's Once Upon a Time.

Biography[]

Background[]

In the New Enchanted Forest, the Troll is inadvertantly created by Alice's birthday wish to escape her tower. Upon making her wish, the Troll rips the roof off the tower, allowing Alice to escape. Years later, the Troll returns on Alice's birthday. However, the townsfolk are fearful of the troll and try to hunt it down, to Alice's horror. When she realizes that the Troll answered her birthday wish to not be alone, Alice comforts the Troll and tells him that she is not alone anymore. Without a purpose, the Troll transforms into stone.

Season 7[]

After being taken by the curse, the Fremont Troll remains a statue, under the Aurora Bridge in Seattle. Tilly often goes there, which becomes useful in proving Tilly's innocence in the murders of Andrea Sage and Hilda Braeburn, as the security camera in the Troll's eye shows that Tilly was there during the time of Hilda's death.
