Lumière is a character on ABC's Once Upon a Time. Lumière is a man trapped in candelabra form by the wicked witch Zelena. He is portrayed by Henry Lubatti.
Biography
Season 3
When Baelfire and Belle are searching through the library at Rumplestiltskin's estate, looking for a way to resurrect Rumplestiltskin, they light a candelabra. However, the flames and smoke form the face of a man called Lumière, who claims to have a prisoner of Rumplestiltskin, being trapped in candle form. He tells Belle and Bae about the Vault of the Dark One, which can be used to resurrect Rumplestiltskin. However, it is revealed that Lumière is actually working for Zelena the Wicked Witch of the West, who was the one who trapped Lumière as an enchanted candelabra. Bae and Belle take Lumière to the Vault of the Dark One. When Lumière says that he was in the library for 200 years, Belle realizes that he is lying, because Rumplestiltskin built the library for Belle not long before the first Dark Curse. When Zelena arrives, she takes control of the newly-resurrected Rumplestiltskin with his dagger, and orders him to kill Belle. Lumière, feeling remorse for his actions, creates fire which swirls around Zelena, temporarily trapping her, while Belle escapes. During the third Dark Curse, Lumière becomes one of the many items in Rumplestiltskin's pawnshop.

- Lumière is based on the enchanted candelabra from Beauty and the Beast. Additionally, he may allude to Flicker from The Ice King of Oz, a man turned into a candle by the Wicked Witch of the West.
